The menu is an inviting blend of bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and classic Korean recipes that provide an unforgettable dining experience.

Whether you’re a fan of savory barbecue or hearty stews, Soban Korean Cuisine has something for everyone. One of the standout items on the menu is their bibimbap, a colorful and flavorful dish served with a sizzling hot stone bowl. The rice is perfectly crispy on the bottom, and the assortment of vegetables, a fried egg, and your choice of protein make every bite a delightful explosion of textures and flavors. It’s the kind of dish that not only tastes incredible but also provides a visual feast, with vibrant greens, reds, and yellows filling the bowl.

Another favorite at Soban Korean Cuisine is their Korean BBQ, where diners can enjoy grilling their own meats right at the table. Whether you opt for tender beef short ribs or juicy pork belly, the grilling experience adds an extra layer of fun and interactivity to your meal. The restaurant provides a variety of dipping sauces and sides, including kimchi, pickled radishes, and steamed rice, ensuring that every bite is perfectly balanced.

If you’re in the mood for something heartier, the stews and soups at Soban Korean Cuisine are sure to satisfy. The spicy kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew) is a must-try for those who love bold, spicy flavors. With chunks of tofu, pork, and, of course, kimchi, this stew warms you from the inside out. For those who prefer a milder flavor, the soft tofu stew offers a delicate balance of flavors, with silky tofu and vegetables swimming in a savory broth.

Soban Korean Cuisine also offers a variety of side dishes, or banchan, which are a staple in Korean dining. These small plates are served with every meal and typically include an assortment of pickled vegetables, fermented foods, and salads. The kimchi, in particular, is a standout-tangy, spicy, and perfectly fermented, it pairs wonderfully with almost any dish.

The cozy atmosphere at Soban makes it a perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or a quiet dinner for two. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that you have a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. • Oh my this place was good! Better than many of the Korean places I’ve been to in SF and Santa Clara… we drove up through an hour of traffic from south Marin and it was worth it. The husband-wife duo are so fast & efficient too. My only ask is please open a location in Marin! (We need you to rescue us from our Korean food desert)

  • Dined here for the first time and what a treat. The servers were warm and welcoming. I was craving Korean ribs and they were excellent. I also got the spiced pork soup. I kind of wished there had been something more in it than just broth but that broth was delicious. All of the side condiments were also delicious. It was a bit pricey so we couldn’t eat here often but a nice treat once in a while.

  • This was not just a meal - it was an experience of balance and care. Every banchan was intentional, fresh and perfectly seasoned. The vegetables were vibrant, the flavors layered without being heavy and the pacing of the meal felt natural and thoughtful. The hot stone soup was deeply nourishing and paired beautifully with the crisp, golden jeon. Nothing felt rushed or excessive - just comforting, well-prepared food made with care. Warm service, a calm atmosphere and truly authentic Korean flavors. We will absolutely be back. And the rice was cooked to absolute perfection - review by a Korean who knows her rice!

  • As a Korean I can say that this is the best Korean restaurant in North Bay! if you want delicious, authentic korean food, come here! Their chive pancake is always crispy and delicious. We like the dolsot bibimbap (served on hot stone pot), Kalbi and so on.
